Internship at HA-CO Carbon GmbH

From 27 to 31 March 2023, we welcomed Lea Schmetzstorff to our company. Lea was able to get to know various types of work in our company as part of an internship. She was particularly interested in the administration and commercial tasks that arise in a medium-sized company.

The Wirtschaftsschule Nördlingen offers young people the opportunity to take a look at the world of work away from the usual school routine and to gain their first experience of working life. Work placements are an important building block in one's own development on the way to a personal dream job. We are happy to support this topic in order to counteract the shortage of skilled workers and to present ourselves as an attractive employer.

Lea herself reports the following about her internship:
"Hello, my name is Lea, I am 17 years old and currently a student in class 10z at the business school in Nördlingen. [...] (At HA-CO Carbon) I was around a lot in the commercial area and was also allowed to do some interesting tasks independently. It was a pleasure for me to visit the company and learn about [the production processes occurring there]. This internship has sparked my interest in the commercial field and I will definitely inform myself more about it."

We are delighted that Lea has joined us this week and hope that we have been able to inspire her about our work. She has been a great help to us in many ways and we wish her the best as she starts her career!
